One of the routine activities carried out by the Rama Sesana Foundation is the empowerment of women especially those who work at the Badung Market in the form of a Peer Educator program. Those who are members of the Peer Educator program are women who have the will to help fellow women in raising awareness for women’s health. On November 27, the peer educator meeting discussed about one of the degenerative diseases that most cause death in Indonesia, namely Diabetes. In addition, it also discusses Domestic Violence such as how to prevent domestic violence from occurring, efforts made if Domestic Violence occurs and others. The Educator Peer was very enthusiastic during the meeting. After getting information about Diabetes and Domestic Violence from Rama Sesana Foundation’s staff, then, the Peer Educator shared the information with all traders in the Badung Market.
